Admissions to TAG for Kindergarten through Fourth Grade is handled by the New York City Department of Education, Office of Elementary School Admissions.
Types of G&T programs:
- For Children Interested in Kindergarten G&T Programs in Fall 2024
The Kindergarten application is now closed. All children born in 2019 were eligible to apply. If you applied by the deadline and listed G&T programs on your application, you will be evaluated for eligibility.
- For Children Interested in Grades 1, 2, 3, or 4 G&T Programs in Fall 2024
Current kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade families who are interested in G&T can submit an application beginning April 15, 2024. The application deadline will be May 3, 2024. Eligibility will be based on report card grades
- For Children Interested in Grade 6 (Middle School) G&T Programs in Fall 2024
The middle school application is closed. Middle school offers and waitlists will be released on April 3. (This date subject to change).
